Lesley Patmore

Lesley joined the Board in 2008 and was elected Chairperson in 2011.

Lesley works for The University of Wollongong at the Graduate School of Medicine. Lesley has been involved with KidzWish since 2005 when her son Kip, who suffers from Cerebral Palsey, took part in the KidzWish Calendar.

KidzWish Chairperson Les Patmore said "KidzWish is such an exciting organisation to be part of. We deliver fun, lots of Laughter and many smiles to plenty of sick, disabled and disadvantaged children throughout our region."

Gary Luck

Gary is Vice Chairperson of KidzWish and the Wollongong Branch Manager for the Greater Building Society, and has been a local Illawarra resident for the past 7 years.

Gary joined the Board of KidzWish mid-way through 2010, but has been associated with the foundation through sponsorship support since March 2009.

KidzWish Vice Chairperson Gary Luck said "To be able to witness the difference that KidzWish makes to the lives of so many local needy children is just fantastic, and having been given the opportunity to contribute, on a personal level to such a wonderful cause, is a huge reward in itself."

Chris Beaven

Executive Director, Secretary to The Board, Public Officer and founder of KidzWish.

Chris Beaven has never given up on a challenge. Chris’ life long experience in the Strategic Marketing and Events world has proved to be a valuable asset to her dream of assisting, sick, disabled and disadvantaged children.

In the beginning it was to bring ‘love and laughter’ to special children by providing them with a Christmas Party.  Now, thousands of special children benefit from the provision of wheelchairs, physiotherapy and amazing experiences. With Chris’ determination KidzWish is now a major charity with a solid future.

Bob Grbevski

Bob became the Treasurer of KidzWish in March 2011 and has been a Board Member since the middle of 2010.

Bob is General Manager of Austbrokers City State in Shellharbour providing tailor made commercial insurance packages. He has been a proud supporter of KidzWish for many years and enjoys his personal involvement as a volunteer at the Stockland KidzWish Christmas Party for special children, and other KidzWish events during the year.

Simon Davie - General Manager

Simon is very proud to work with the Board and KidzWish team to bring support, love and laughter to the sick, disabled and disadvantaged children.

Simon’s role includes delivering the strategic and operational plan for KidzWish in 3 key areas: Raising Awareness of the charity’s and children’s needs, Raising Money to ensure the special children get what they need and Raising the special Children up through programs including Therapy, Music and Dance and Disabled Sports Academies.

KidzWish General Manager Simon Davie said “I am very excited about the new programs being rolled out this year, especially the Mobile Speech Therapy Program, KidzSpeak. This will result in 750 children receiving the Speech Therapy they so desperately need and is the first program of its kind in Australia.”
