The KidzWish Foundation is a self funded organisation depending completely on generosity of individuals and businesses.
The KidzWish Foundation was founded in 2004 by Chris Beaven to provide Support, Love and Laughter to sick, disabled and disadvantaged children.
It started with a Christmas Party for 500 children that has since grown to an amazing experience for over 3,200 special children and their families and KidzWish also now provides much needed therapy assisted services, programs and experiences.
The KidzWish Foundation makes a difference by enabling sick, disabled and disadvantaged children to experience
- greater chance of happiness
The KidzWish Foundation is Illawarra’s Charity of choice. It is important to note we help all sick, disabled and disadvantaged children and we are linked with a number of different charities to help spread Love and Laughter to special children in Regional Australia.
The Love and Laughter Program aims to assist special children and their families through the funding of appeals. The program assists with supportive, educational and beneficial equipment and services. Whether it is an appeal for a new wheelchair or a puppy dog, the effects are amazing. This program makes a massive difference to the lives of sick, disabled and disadvantaged children and their families.
More recently, KidzWish purchased KidzWish Place; a home for the chairty that provides special children with Therapy Assisted Services including physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy as well as a Music and Dance Program which gives special children and their siblings an opportunity to enjoy Love and Laughter that comes with music and dancing.
